  1. Denzel Washington Avenges a Friend in Bloody 'Equalizer 2' Trailer

Denzel Washington is back to save the day, one brutal fight at a time.

The two-time Academy Award winner returns in "The Equalizer 2," the upcoming sequel to the 2014 action thriller directed by fellow Oscar-holder Antoine Fuqua. The duo have teamed up again, and they'll bring viewers more suspense and intense fights, based on what we've seen so far. Sony Pictures Entertainment released the official trailer Thursday.

In "The Equalizer 2," Washington returns as Robert McCall, a retired CIA black ops operative. In spite of his promise to his late wife, a quiet life continues to elude him. When he learns that an old friend has been killed, he sets out to avenge her murder.

"I'm going to kill each and everyone of them, and my only disappointment is that I'm only going to get to do it once," he says in the trailer.

Watch below -- as long as you're prepared for some gory scenes.

"The Equalizer 2" is due out July 20.

  2. Meet 'The Prince William of Asia' in First 'Crazy Rich Asians' Teaser

When the first photos from the upcoming big screen adaptation of Kevin Kwan novel "Crazy Rich Asians" surfaced late last year, it seemed clear that this flick would definitely live up to its title. Now, fans have their first look at footage from the opulent film.

The teaser -- released on Thursday, in anticipation of the debut of the full trailer on Monday -- gives viewers a quick rundown of the plot: Rachel (Constance Wu), a Chinese-American professor, accompanies her hunky boyfriend Nick (Henry Golding) back home to his native Singapore for a friend's wedding. What Nick neglects to mention, however, is that his family is ridiculously wealthy -- crazy rich, you might say.

It's been a CRAaazy long wait, but it's almost here! @wbpictures and director @jonmchu are proud to present the official trailer for #CrazyRichAsians, dropping on MONDAY!

    — Crazy Rich Asians (@CrazyRichMovie) April 19, 2018
In the clip, there are quick cuts to demonstrate this wealth, including luxurious cars, lavish fireworks displays, palatial mansions, and over-the-top parties.

"You really should've told me that you're like the Prince William of Asia," an overwhelmed Rachel chides Nick.

"That's ridiculous," Nick replies with a wink. "I'm much more of a Harry."

Royalty or not, it seems clear that Nick's world isn't something Rachel is used to. That tension drives the flick, and should provide plenty of fish-out-of-water moments, particularly when it comes to interactions with Nick's imposing mother, Eleanor (Michelle Yeoh).

"Crazy Rich Asians" is set to hit theaters on August 17.

  3. Watch Emilia Clarke's Hilarious 'Game of Thrones' Set Tour (With 'Boring' Kit Cameo)

Win a chance to visit the "Game of Thrones" set, for a good cause!

The Mother of Dragons is also The Mother of Tour Guides. "Game of Thrones" queen Emilia Clarke is effortlessly charming and funny in this Omaze video offering a tour of the Belfast, Northern Ireland set. It's not exactly a detailed set tour, since she's forced out of every room, and she can't even read out the final script to us without being bleeped.

The whole point is to get fans to donate to her Omaze campaign to support the Royal College of Nursing. If you donate, you and a friend/whoever get a chance to visit the set and *really* go behind-the-scenes. You also get to have lunch with Daenerys Targaryen herself.

    Watch the video, it's perfection:
She's so darn cute. And, for the record, Kit Harington and his six-pack abs aren't the least bit "boring" to us.

"Game of Thrones" Season 8 only has six episodes, but the show is continuing to film until at least June. The final season airs on HBO in 2019.

  4. Peter Is the New Darryl in 'Deadpool 2' Final Trailer

Peter & Darryl need their own Marvel spinoff.

"Deadpool 2" is coming out May 18, and 20th Century Fox just shared "The Final Trailer." They saved some of the best jokes for last:

Deadpool mocks Cable with a shot at the DCEU: "So dark! Are you sure you're not from the DC Universe?" Deadpool also digs Josh Brolin's MCU role: "Pump the hate brakes, Thanos."

The trailer also shows Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Weasel (T.J. Miller, still here) interviewing for the new X-Force, introducing Domino (Zazie Beetz), Bedlam (Terry Crews), and Shatterstar (Lewis Tan).

Plus, there's Peter. He doesn't have any powers. He just answered the ad. That was enough. "You're in."Reminds us of Thor's former roommate, Darryl.

Last we heard, after "Thor: Ragnarok," Darryl was stuck rooming with the Grandmaster, but only because he's the only one who replied to the ad.

May we suggest the first post-Disney Fox/MCU crossover be Peter moving in as Darryl's new roommate, and fighting versions of Josh Brolin together?

"Be the first to see the second coming" of Deadpool on May 18. Don't forget that Bill Skarsgard is in this, too. Tickets are on sale now.

  5. 'GLOW' Season 2 Gets Release Date & Retro Fabulous 'Flashdance' Teaser

The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are heading back in the ring!

Netflix just shared the release date and plot details for "GLOW" Season 2.

But they didn't just post the Season 2 date, which is Friday, June 29. The streamer also shared a 1-minute, 41-second date announcement dance teaser set to "Maniac," the song from the 1983 movie "Flashdance."We missed those maniacs!

Here are details on the second season:

"Season 2 follows the women of GLOW as they become local celebrities, confronting the good, the bad, and the ugly realities of their newfound fame. As Ruth (Alison Brie) and Debbie (Betty Gilpin) settle into the day-to-day of making a season of TV together, they confront lingering issues at the heart of their friendship. Sam (Marc Maron) is still Sam, but now he has a teenage daughter living with him and twenty episodes to churn out. The wrestling is harder, the stakes are higher, and the hair is even bigger."

In addition to Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, and Marc Maron, the Netflix comedy also stars Sydelle Noel, Britney Young, Jackie Tohn, Kate Nash, Britt Baron, Rich Sommer, Chris Lowell, Gayle Rankin, Kia Stevens, Sunita Mani, Ellen Wong, Marianna Palka, and more.

"GLOW" Season 2 will have 10 episodes, premiering June 29.

  6. Here Are Two Songs From the 'Riverdale' Musical Episode

It seems like every show on The CW is getting a musical episode (or already is an actual musical), and next up on the docket is buzzy teen drama "Riverdale." The sophomore show is set to tackle tunes from the real-life Broadway flop "Carrie" (yes, based on the film version of Stephen King's horror novel), and now, fans have their first look at that oddly perfect mashup.

In anticipation for the episode's debut this week, the network released video of two full musical numbers from the show, featuring the songs "In" and "A Night We'll Never Forget." The first one opens the episode, and like the rest of the numbers that are featured in the installment, is woven into the plot of the episode itself, featuring the show's characters getting ready for the day, and then rehearsing "Carrie: The Musical."

The second clip features the cast backstage on opening night, fixing their hair and makeup and getting into costume. The lyrics just happen to match up with the anticipation of putting on a show (funny how that works out so well), before the ensemble takes the stage to perform the number for the crowd.

If you weren't excited about this episode before, we have a feeling these two numbers will change your mind. (Unless you're not a fan of musicals. Then we can't really help you.)

The special "Carrie: The Musical" episode of "Riverdale" makes its grand debut on The CW on Wednesday, April 18 at 8 p.m.

  7. 'Hotel Artemis' Trailer: Sterling K. Brown Checks in to Jodie Foster's Hospital for Criminals

The action-packed new trailer for upcoming thriller "Hotel Artemis" just dropped today, introducing a cool concept and a sprawling cast of characters played by a ridiculously star-studded roster of Hollywood talent.

The titular residence is actually an underground, members-only hospital for criminals, run by the Nurse (Jodie Foster), and adheres to a strict set of rules to keep the peace: no insulting the staff, no weapons, no killing the other patients. But things are disrupted after a heist, led by Waikiki (Sterling K. Brown), results in his friend Honolulu (Brian Tyree Henry) getting shot, and the pair seek out the Hotel Artemis for help.

It turns out that they made off with a pretty valuable object (a pen that just happens to hold $18 million worth of jewels), and now, a criminal mastermind (played by Jeff Goldblum) wants to take it off their hands. It looks like some rules are definitely about to get broken.

"Hotel Artemis" also stars Dave Bautista, Sofia Boutella, Charlie Day, Zachary Quinto, and Jenny Slate. (See, we told you it was star-studded.) It's due in theaters on June 8.

  8. Robert De Niro & Ben Stiller Bring 'Meet the Parents' to 'SNL' Cold Open

Compare this little focker to the original scene.

John Mulaney hosted "Saturday Night Live" on April 14, but he wasn't in the brilliant cold open. Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro stole the opener by re-enacting the lie detector scene from "Meet the Parents" -- with a Trump administration twist. Stiller played President Donald Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen, with De Niro as Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Mueller's interrogation led to some crossover laughs, including a redux of the "You can milk anything with nipples" joke.

Check out the "SNL" clip, and some clips from the original movie:"You broke the law. Now we're gonna catch all of you 'Little Fockers,' you got that?"

Nice. Hopefully both Stiller and De Niro can return for more Cohen and Mueller sketches, if the news offers those opportunities.

"Saturday Night Live" will welcome Donald Glover as both host and musical guest on May 5, just in time to promote "Solo: A Star Wars Story." Watch more clips from Mulaney's SNL gig.

  9. 'The Office' & 'A Quiet Place' Got a Perfect Mashup Trailer Called 'A Dwight Place'

Has John Krasinski seen this masterpiece?

Krasinski is still best known to many fans as Jim from NBC's "The Office." However, he just scored big time at the box office, directing and co-starring in the horror film "A Quiet Place."

Fans immediately made jokes and comparisons between the two projects, but YouTuber Media Muse showed real assistant to the regional manager level initiative by creating "A Dwight Place."

The parody trailer mashup combines key scenes from "The Office" -- like "the longest silent streak in office history" -- with tense scenes and music from "A Quiet Place."

It helps to know that, in "A Quiet Place," everyone has to stay completely silent or they'll attract Very Bad Things.

Watch the trailer for "A Dwight Place":Brilliant.

John Krasinski has been retweeting raves for "A Quiet Place" from the likes of Chris Pratt and Ryan Reynolds, among others. He should really give this video a push, too, since it's right up his dual alleys.

  10. Pixar Power: Watch the New 'Incredibles 2' Trailer & a Cute Clip From 'Bao'

Every week should include a double-dose of Pixar.

"Incredibles 2" arrives in theaters this June, and we're just a wee bit ecstatic about that. Disney-Pixar just shared the "official trailer" on Friday -- not to be confused with all of the other trailers and TV spots out there. It's focuseds on "Mom's new job" bringing "supers" back into the spotlight. That leaves Mr. Incredible on Mr. Mom duty.

Before "Incredibles 2" plays, fans will see the short film "Bao," which already looks and sounds adorable. Prepare to melt. And maybe get hungry. It's about a Chinese-Canadian woman feeling empty nest syndrome who gets a second chance at being a mom when one of her dumplings comes to life. "Bao" has a double meaning in Chinese -- a steamed bun, but also something treasured.

    Here's the "Bao" clip first:

And here's the "Incredibles 2" trailer: Both the short film "Bao" and the feature film "Incredibles 2" arrive in theaters on Friday, June 15.

  11. 'Mary Shelley' Trailer Delves Into Origins of 'Frankenstein'

It's time for a look at the mind behind the classic novel "Frankenstein."

The biopic "Mary Shelley" is due to hit U.S. theaters soon, and ahead of its launch, the studio has released a new trailer. The preview looks the life of the "Frankenstein" author, how she came up with the horror story, and her battle to be taken seriously. Elle Fanning plays the title character, joined by Douglas Booth as the author's husband, Bel Powley as her stepsister, and Tom Sturridge as Lord Byron, among others.

The preview teases a complicated story, saying that "her greatest love inspired her darkest creation." There are moments of happiness, like when Mary first falls in love with poet Percy Shelley (Booth), but it also hints at loss, betrayal, and death. Watch below.

Directed by Haifaa al-Mansour and written by Emma Jensen, "Mary Shelley" first premiered at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. It will open stateside on May 25.

  12. 'Dark Crimes' Trailer: Jim Carrey Searches for Super Creepy Killer

Jim Carrey is giving us what very well may be the opposite of laughs.

The actor's 2016 film "Dark Crimes" is finally making its way to the United States, with a new trailer leading the way. Based on the preview, the film looks chilling, to say the least. Carrey plays Tadek, a detective looking into a grisly murder. At the top of his list of suspects is a crime writer who has written eerily similar stories.

The plot and the case seem straightforward enough at first, but the trailer soon shows there are more variables at play. We don't know what they are, but they appear to set up some possibly mind-boggling twists. Watch for yourself below.

Carrey stars in the thriller alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg, Marton Csokas, Agata Kulesza, Zbigniew Zamachowski, and Kati Outinen. The film is based on the New Yorker article "True Crime" by David Grann and Krystian Bala, and it premiered at the 2016 Warsaw Film Festival.

"Dark Crimes" opens stateside May 11.

  13. Meet the Met Gala Robbers in Official 'Ocean's 8' Trailer

"You're no good, you're no good, you're no good. Baby, you're no good."

But the "Ocean's 8" team is treating us very well so far, and we can't wait to see more of them this June.

Warner Bros. just released the official main trailer for "Ocean's 8," fully introducing the dream cast and sharing more about the plan to rob the annual Met ball.

We see Sandra Bullock as Debbie Ocean -- the felon sister of Danny Ocean -- who concocted this little plan while she was busy hanging out in prison ... for over five years.

The rest of the team includes Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter. Non-8 costars include James Corden -- who has a big presence at the start of the trailer -- and Richard Armitage. As a build-up to the trailer premiere, the official Twitter account teased out some character promos:

  14. Tina Fey Laments Her Daughters' Hilarious Reactions to Her Work on 'Late Night'

Tina Fey's toughest critics might just be her daughters.

The comedian chatted with Seth Meyers on "Late Night" the evening after Meyers's second son was born (in his apartment's lobby, no less), and she did her best to prepare him for some of the trials of parenthood he hasn't yet faced. Specifically, she detailed what it's like sharing your work with them as they get older. For Fey, this has led to some undesirable but hilarious outcomes.

The actress and her husband, composer Jeff Richmond, have two daughters, Alice and Penelope, who are 12 and 6, respectively. With Alice proving to be a comedy lover, Fey hoped that she could get her eldest into the NBC sitcom she created and starred in, "30 Rock." Unfortunately, when Alice gave it a go, she came back with the criticism that it is "too weird." To add insult to injury, she loved "Parks and Recreation," which stars Fey's close friend Amy Poehler.

Fey hasn't tried to push "30 Rock" on Penelope yet, but her youngest did get to sit in on rehearsals while the "Mean Girls" musical was being made. Unfortunately, she didn't quite understand the spirit of the story. Instead of learning how to not be like the Plastics, Fey says, Penelope started playing "Mean Girls" at school and wanting to yell at people as Regina.

Watch Fey recount the entertaining stories below.

"Late Night with Seth Meyers" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

  15. 'Avengers' Stars Are 'Infatuated' With Each Other in Sweet Behind-the-Scenes Video

It's clear everyone involved in "Avengers: Infinity War" loves Chris Pratt ... except Benedict Cumberbatch.

But he's just being sarcastic (we think) when he calls Pratt "arduous and boring and not particularly funny."

Cumberbatch, aka Doctor Strange, said it was on his "bucket list" to work with Chris Pratt 'cause he figured he'd be good fun. That's clearly the case in this new behind-the-scenes featurette from Marvel Studios.

    • We see Chris Hemsworth (Thor) kinda-sorta feel up Chris Pratt (Star-Lord).

    • We see Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk) hug "godfather" Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man).

    • We hear RDJ say he wasn't sure what to make of Cumberbatch before spending time with him on-and-off set, and now he's "infatuated with this guy."

    • Danai Gurira (Okoye) gushes over working with "Lizzie," aka Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) and the other women of the MCU.

    • Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) gets nostalgic over the original "triumvirate" of Pepper, Iron Man, and Happy.

As RDJ put it, "I get a little misty thinking about it." Same, bro.

Speaking of being infatuated, though, did you see Tom Holland's (Spider-Man) recent interview going on about Chris Pratt?

Tom Holland talking about his relationship with Chris Pratt.

    — everything marvel (@occmarveI) April 8, 2018

Chris Hemsworth also said he was intimidated and "weirdly shaken" when he first met "charismatic" Chris Pratt. Sounds like he charmed everyone.

Just the other day Marvel shared a video with the cast thanking fans for 10 years of Marvel movies (and Twitter fights). Maybe tomorrow Marvel will share another great featurette video. We have a couple of weeks left to fill until "Infinity War" opens in theaters on April 27.

  16. Watch 'Avengers' Stars Thank Fans for 10 Years of Marvel Movies (and Twitter Fights)

Anyone else get nostalgia + hype chills from this video? It's a special combination.

You probably know that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which started with "Iron Man" in 2008 and has opened 18 movies so far. "Avengers: Infinity War" will make it 19 later this month.

A few months ago, Marvel Studios shared a Class Photo video from the cast/filmmaker 10th anniversary gathering. Now, just a couple of weeks ahead of "Avengers 3," Marvel posted a video specifically honoring the fans.

Called "10 Years of Fandom Featurette," the video features stars Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), and Dave Bautista (Drax).

RDJ: "To all our amazing fans, the truth is we are here for you. We gotta thank you for 10 years of support and inspiration. You're the reason we're here."

Awwww. They even thanked us for the Twitter fights. They know us. They really know us.

The day after posting this video, Marvel shared another one -- even more adorable -- with the "Avengers" stars gushing over each other.

It's all been leading up to "Avengers: Infinity War," which opens Friday, April 27.

  17. 'The Meg' Trailer: Watch Jason Statham Fight 'the Largest Shark That Ever Existed'

"The Meg" official trailer and poster are "pleased to eat you," especially if you are Jason Statham.

He's gonna need a bigger boat in "The Meg" -- which is short for Megalodon, the massive shark antagonist of this action/thriller/comedy opening in August.

Jon Turteltaub directed the international cast, led by Jason Statham, Rainn Wilson, Li Bing-Bing, Cliff Curtis, Ruby Rose, and Masi Oka.

Check out the trailer: That dog had better make it.

    Here's the poster:

Here's more about "The Meg" via Warner Bros.:

"In the film, a deep-sea submersible—part of an international undersea observation program—has been attacked by a massive creature, previously thought to be extinct, and now lies disabled at the bottom of the deepest trench in the Pacific...with its crew trapped inside. With time running out, expert deep sea rescue diver Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham) is recruited by a visionary Chinese oceanographer (Winston Chao), against the wishes of his daughter Suyin (Li Bingbing), to save the crew—and the ocean itself—from this unstoppable threat: a pre-historic 75-foot-long shark known as the Megalodon. What no one could have imagined is that, years before, Taylor had encountered this same terrifying creature. Now, teamed with Suyin, he must confront his fears and risk his own life to save everyone trapped below...bringing him face to face once more with the greatest and largest predator of all time."

(Who'd win in a fight, a Megalodon or a Demogorgon?)

"The Meg" is currently scheduled for release on August 10th.

  18. 'New Girl' Clip Teases Final Season With Jess's Regrets and an Ex

The end is very, very near, so Fox is getting us ready for "New Girl" Season 7.

The network released a new clip via EW on Monday, just a day before the premiere of the comedy's final season. With Season 7 picking up three years after the events of Season 6, we have some catching up to do on the gang's lives, and the clip gave us some important intel. Jess (Zooey Deschanel), it seems, has been making some bad decisions.

The clip opens with Jess chatting with Cece (Hannah Simone), and she's wearing a new nose ring -- one she considers a mistake. And it turns out there's more: Jess also has a misspelled tattoo to show off, too. However, Cece, like us, is curious about more than just new ink. She wants to know what's going on with her friend and Nick (Jake Johnson), but their conversation in interrupted when one of Jess's exes shows up.

    Watch below.

Is that relationship drama we smell? It very well could be.

"New Girl" Season 7 premieres April 10 on Fox.

  19. Watch Chadwick Boseman Bring His 'Black Panther' Character to 'SNL'

T'Challa is a ruler of Wakanda and the box office, but he wasn't born the king of Black Jeopardy.

Chadwick Boseman hosted "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend, and the "Black Panther" star reprised his role from the hit Marvel flick. He portrayed T'Challa in not one but two sketches, including the "SNL" parody quiz show Black Jeopardy. When pitted against contestants Shanice (Leslie Jones) and Rashad (Chris Redd), T'Challa got off to a rough start. Growing up in Wakanda, he had some gaps in his knowledge of life in America. The Wakandan leader was at a loss when faced with questions about dealing with Sallie Mae and airline baggage fees, for example.

However, much as Black Jeopardy host Darnell Hayes (Kenan Thompson) cringed as T'Challa got used to the game, the Wakandan leader eventually caught on, and in hilarious fashion. Watch below.

T'Challa also showed up in a "new scene" from "Black Panther" and spent some quality time with his ancestors.

"Saturday Night Live" airs at 11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT on NBC.

  20. Cap & Bucky Have a Moment in 'Avengers: Infinity War' Clip, and Fans Are Overwhelmed

Reunited and it feels so gooooood.

The press tour has officially begun for "Avengers: Infinity War," so get used to seeing it everywhere -- even more than in the past few months.

Some fans are choosing to avoid the trailers, TV spots, and other promotion to keep surprises intact. Fair enough. The rest of us are devouring every bit of intel like discount Easter candy, knowing that the 2.5-hour movie is going to save plenty of surprises for the theater.

For the latter group, the latest teaser was a gift, for many reasons. Beyond Okoye (Danai Gurira) making a great Starbucks joke, there was a beautiful reunion scene between Steve Rogers/Not Captain America Anymore (Chris Evans) and Bucky Barnes/Not The Winter Soldier Anymore (Sebastian Stan). Thanks to Shuri, Bucky is free from his conditioning and ready to rejoin his very old friend on the frontlines of the battle against Thanos.

    — Ashley Griffith 🖖🏼 (@SwayWithMe1) April 7, 2018

Between that clip, and the new "Infinity War" poster butt shots of Cap and Bucky (sorry, but that was the main takeaway for 80 percent of Twitter), Stucky fans are feeling pretty blessed.

"Avengers: Infinity War" opens in theaters April 27.

  21. Chewbacca's Age Is Revealed in 'Solo: A Star Wars Story' Official Trailer

This trailer is so much better than the previous one. Should we thank Ron Howard and his reshoots?

"Solo: A Star Wars Story" has been a troubled story so far, with the director switcheroo so late into production. Fans appeared to lower their expectations for this standalone, but the official trailer has the hype train back in motion.

For one, Alden Ehrenreich definitely seems more like Han Solo. He'll never be Harrison Ford, but that's a given. Also, Donald Glover has a great introduction as Lando, aka the "best smuggler around":

"Everything you've heard about me ... is true."

We also finally see Paul Bettany's character, Dryden Vos, described as a "big shot gangster" by Woody Harrelson's Tobias Beckett.

But the best and most encouraging part of the trailer is the dynamic between Han and Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo). This relationship is key, and it's new in the timeline of "Solo."

Speaking of new, Chewie reveals his exact age in this movie, to the surprise of Han Solo himself:

    "You're 190-years-old?! You look great!"

He must be using some amazing hair products.

  22. HBO's Official 'Fahrenheit 451' Trailer Burns More Than Books

"It was a pleasure to burn." One of the best opening lines to any novel. Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451" is coming to HBO as a TV movie on May 19, starring Michael B. Jordan, Michael Shannon, Sofia Boutella, and Lilly Singh.

Here's a synopsis from HBO Films:

"The drama is based on Ray Bradbury's classic novel of the same name, depicting a future where the media is an opiate, history is rewritten and 'firemen' burn books.

Michael B. Jordan portrays Montag, a young fireman who forsakes his world and struggles to regain his humanity as he battles his mentor, fire captain Beatty, played by Michael Shannon.

Sofia Boutella stars as Clarisse, an informant caught between the competing interests of Montag and Beatty."

HBO shared a teaser back in February, but here's the official trailer:

"Did firemen used to put out fires?"
"That's a classic lie. Have you used your drops today?"

"We are not born equal. We must be made equal by the fire...and then we can be happy."

Michael B. Jordan is really on a hot streak (get it? hot?) between "Black Panther," the "Creed" movies, and now this.

    "Fahrenheit 451" premieres Saturday, May 19 from 8-9:40 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.

  23. J.K. Rowling's 'C.B. Strike' Miniseries Gets Premiere Date on Cinemax

    Accio, Cormoran Strike!

When she's not busy writing the "Fantastic Beasts" scripts, or more "Harry Potter" stories, J.K. Rowling switches gears into crime writer Robert Galbraith. Under that name, she's been writing the fantastic Cormoran Strike detective novels. The ongoing series includes "The Cuckoo's Calling", "The Silkworm" and "Career of Evil," so far, with "Lethal White" still ahead.

The novels were adapted into a British crime drama miniseries, called "Strike" in the U.K., and "C.B. Strike" over here.

Cinemax picked up the series, and just revealed "C.B. Strike" will premiere Friday, June 1 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, and keep airing Fridays in that timeslot.

The series starts with three one-hour episodes based on the first book in the trilogy, "The Cuckoo's Calling." That will be followed by adaptations of the remaining two books, "The Silkworm" and "Career of Evil," both of which will consist of two one-hour episodes.

Tom Burke ("Only God Forgives") stars as Cormoran Strike, with Holliday Grainger ("The Borgias") as his assistant Robin Ellacott. The story follows Strike, "a war veteran turned private detective, operating out of a tiny office in London's Denmark Street. Although wounded both physically and psychologically, Strike's unique insight and his background as a military police investigator prove crucial in solving three complex cases that have baffled the police."

  24. John Cena Escalates Dwayne Johnson Trash Talk Battle on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

As an actor, you have to do what you can to attract interest to your latest project, even if that means engaging another grown man in some truly absurd trash talk.

This rule is clearly one John Cena knows well. The "Blockers" star has been busy making appearances to promote the film, and in the process, he has gotten into yet another war of words with fellow WWE vet Dwayne Johnson (who incidentally is out doing publicity for "Rampage"). The two are going at it again, and honestly, it's hard to say if it's completely ridiculous or actually utterly brilliant.

Cena appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Wednesday night, just an evening after Johnson had been there. When Kimmel asked Cena about their past rivalry -- which included still more trash talk, of course -- the action star said that they've become friends. Kimmel let him know that Johnson had said as much the night before, but that he still had some choice words for Cena.

"If you ever act up ... I will knock your teeth so far down your throat, you'll have to stick a toothbrush up your ass to brush them," Kimmel read on behalf of Johnson.

Upon hearing it, Cena decided he wasn't "going to take that." He delivered a lengthy and equally over-the-top response to Johnson, all while managing to plug his movie.

"There's more traffic in that region than a Monday on the 405, in both directions," he said of having objects more impressive than a toothbrush in his rectal area in "Blockers."

Cena went on to analyze what a toothbrush does and surmised that Johnson wants to "clean [his] butt." That idea was fine with the actor, but he did also have a warning:

"If I was you, I'd bring a bodysuit and Latex gloves, because down there it's like a Mississippi cornfield in a downpour. ... It is all just mud and vegetation, pal. ... Do you really want to smell what John Cena is putting out?"

The words itself don't do it justice. Watch the full diatribe below.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, and "Blockers" hits theaters April 6.

  25. Kristen Bell Promises 'Frozen 2' Is 'Very Good'

Disney couldn't hold "Frozen" star Kristen Bell back anymore: She had to let something slip about the sequel.

The actress was a guest on Thursday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and she shared "breaking news" about "Frozen 2," in which she'll again voice Anna. With Disney wanting to keep most secrets under wraps, there wasn't much Bell could say. However, she did reveal that she has recorded her part and she knows the songs and the story.

"It's very good," she told DeGeneres. "I can't say much more than that, or I'll get in trouble."

It's not much, but Bell did have an excited air about her as she discussed the film, which is promising. It'll have to tide us over for a while, because the sequel is still a ways away from hitting theaters. As Bell pointed out, it still has to go through the editing process.

    Watch her interview below.

"Frozen 2" also brings back Idina Menzel as the voice of Elsa and Josh Gad as the snowman Olaf. It opens in theaters Nov. 27, 2019.
